RULE OF THUMB WHEN BUYING MACARONS
as simple as it may sound, my main advice when you are acquiring your precious delectables, is to make sure you get it in a box. most places will put them in a box for you, but when you step into a non-macaron specialized bakery and it is extremely busy, chances are they are going to end up in a bag, later for you to realize all your macarons are in pieces. trust me, i have learnt this the hard way! so remember, always take them to go in a box.
